Most portrait sessions take place at Annaharvey Farm, near Tullamore, where I have my photography studio.

Please note it is a busy Equestrian Centre so there are lots of horses, ponies on site with straw and hay throughout. Please contact me in advance if you have concerns relating to allergies to animal hair, grasses or dust etc.

I do sometimes travel to other locations by arrangement so please get in touch if you have somewhere different in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, of course – patience and a split second in the right pose is all we need to get a good image. I have years of experience photographing horses at speed so am very familiar with shooting moving animals!  I have found that horses tend not to mind the flash of the lights.  They can be distracted by noises around them however this can sometimes be helpful to get their ears pricked!

I'm afraid my horse wont stand in front of the lights - can you still photograph him?

A typical session one hour session can be divided between two horses (same owner) and family.

I advise you bring someone capable to help you hold each horse if planning to shoot two horses or I can arrange an assistant in advance for an additional fee if required.

I have two horses - is that twice the price?
