Every horse has a story.
Whether they're your competition partner, trusted friend or once-in-a-lifetime horse, the bond you share deserves to be remembered.
My equine portrait sessions are designed to create timeless images that celebrate your horse's character and the unique relationship you share, transforming treasured memories into beautiful artwork for your home.
The years we spend with our horses never feel long enough.
A portrait session offers the opportunity to slow down, celebrate your journey together and create lasting memories that you'll treasure for years to come.
Using professional studio lighting and a variety of photography backdrops, including the ever-popular classic black, I create timeless portraits that showcase your horse’s beauty and personality.
Beautiful wall art, printed portraits and digital images to enjoy for years to come.

With a background in equine science, coaching and international competition, I understand horses as well as I understand photography.
That means sessions are planned around your horse, allowing plenty of time, patience and flexibility to create portraits that are both beautiful and true to their character.
Alongside private portrait commissions, I also photograph equestrian competitions and events throughout Ireland.
If you're searching for photographs from a recent event check out the 'Galleries' page or if you would like to enquire about event coverage simply get in touch to chat about what you have in mind.
A typical session one hour session can be divided between two horses (same owner) and family.
I advise you bring someone capable to help you hold each horse if planning to shoot two horses or I can arrange an assistant in advance for an additional fee if required.
I have two horses - is that twice the price?
Please don't worry.
I will start very slowly introducing the lights and giving your horse time to look around and get used to the surroundings.
I work patiently, allowing time for breaks and adapting the session to suit your horse's personality.
What if my horse won't stand still?
Do I need to prepare my horse?
Neutral, timeless clothing photographs beautifully and helps keep the focus on you and your horse.
After booking, I'll send you helpful guidance to make choosing outfits easy.
What should I wear?
Absolutely.
Many of the most meaningful portraits include owners, riders or the whole family.
Can I be in the photographs?
Most sessions take place at my studio near Tullamore, Co. Offaly, where I have a studio large enough for a horse for creating timeless portraits.
Outdoor sessions may also be available for clients who would prefer a natural setting.
Please get in touch to discuss sessions on location.
