Where will the session take place?
Most portrait sessions take place at Annaharvey Farm, near Tullamore, where I have my photography studio.
I do sometimes travel to other locations by arrangement so please get in touch if you have somewhere different in mind.
Please note Annaharvey Farm is a busy Equestrian Centre and working farm so there are lots of horses, ponies, cattle and crops on site with straw and hay throughout. Please contact me in advance if you have concerns relating to allergies to animal hair, grasses or dust etc.
Where is Annaharvey Farm located?
The map at the bottom of this page shows the exact location about 5km outside Tullamore on the R420 towards Geashill & Portarlington. The Eircode is R35 A0Y5.
Can I order prints of the edited images?
Yes, I partner with both Irish and international professional printing laboratories to offer high quality prints and wall art in many different sizes and on a variety of materials.
Every session is designed to be a personal, enjoyable experience, resulting in beautiful artwork that can be treasured for years to come. I work with some of the finest professional print labs in Ireland and Europe, using premium materials and craftsmanship to create artwork of exceptional quality.
Many of my clients return time and again to add to their collections, reflecting the care, quality and experience they receive.
The studio portrait session fee starts from €125 and includes your consultation, photography session, and private Image Viewing & Ordering Appointment. Images and artwork are purchased separately, giving you the freedom to choose the pieces you truly love.
My focus is on creating beautiful, bespoke artwork that can be enjoyed every day, rather than images that simply remain on a computer or phone. Whether you're looking for a single statement piece or a collection of framed artwork, I'll guide you through the available options and help you choose what works best for your home.
Professionally edited digital images for personal web and social media use are also available from €95 each.
There is never any obligation to purchase beyond your session fee. You can simply choose the artwork or digital images that feel right for you, your home and your budget.
How much do clients typically invest?
Can I post my images on my social media?
Yes, please do! I would love you to share your favourite photos with your friends. Each wall art product comes with a complimentary digital image suitable for your personal social media.
Photo Credit is preferred and appreciated but not required. If you would like to credit, please tag Aisling Deverell Photography on Facebook or @aislingdphotos on Instagram.
My dog won't sit still - can I still bring her?
Yes, of course! Patience and a split second in a good pose is all we need! I am very familiar with fast moving animals and am happy to wait for an animal to relax and settle down.
If you have a very high energy dog do give him some exercise before you arrive for the session so he will settle quicker – just avoid wearing him out completely, especially with pups and young dogs.
I'm afraid my horse won't stand in front of the lights - can you still photograph him?
Yes, of course! I have found that horses tend not to mind the flash of the lights. In my experience they are more likely to be distracted by noises around them, however this can be helpful to get their ears pricked!
I take time to allow horses to relax and get familiar with their surroundings before gradually introducing the lights, with treats if necessary for positive reinforcement and then starting to photograph them.
I recommend bringing a friend to help so one of you can focus in how the horse is standing and the other can get his attention and 'ears'.
