Born in Cape Town, my connection to Africa has always been deeply personal. Although I grew up in Ireland, I have always felt a deep love for Africa — its landscapes, wildlife, atmosphere, and the unique sense of freedom and beauty that continues to draw me back whenever I can return.
Today, I return to Africa whenever possible — though never often enough — to photograph some of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife.
I was honoured to have an image photographed in Kruger National Park selected for Team Ireland for the 2026 World Photographic Cup.
